The leader of the expedition, Aslargi it was who discovered the map showing the route to the Necropolis. He is human, a practitioner of the 'light-fingered trade'.

This human paladin of Heironeous is as skilled with pots and pans as he is with weapons and armour. He likes his friends to call him 'Sir Stan'.

A young girl with a secret, a user of magic from a land to the east of Seal Bay, Bressete has a rather unusual taste in weapons.

A priest of Fharlanghan who joined the group shortly after they arrived in Za'ankhagan, having trailed them from Peaksfoot. He bore a letter from Seraphina, who vouched for him.

Deminoc is a sorcerer by trade, and a necromancer by preference. He is human, although his appearance is very distinctive, if somewhat grim.

One of two young Zhundi women, desert nomads, who joined the party after they crossed the Ghost Peaks, Kalila combines child-like naivety and inquisitiveness with deep wisdom and intuition.

One of two young Zhundi women, desert nomads, who joined the party after they crossed the Ghost Peaks.

SnigLip the kobold joined the group after Seraphina healed him. Never slow on the uptake, the diminutive creature realised that these people eat better than most kobolds, and don't mind sharing with him.

A human bard, Aidan Quinn had total faith in his abilities as a hero. Some might have thought him a little 'big headed', but they would have been mistaking confidence for arrogance.

 

Alton Thurble (Deceased - slain by undead minotaur)
This halfling was an expert on hunting down those who threaten his people, and in making them stop doing it.

Aramil Sionnodel (Departed for parts unknown)
An elf, a member of the elder race, Aramil was skilled in the use of the bow and sword (as are all his kind), but his major talent lay in the arcane arts.

Arken (Deceased - envenomed needle in lock)
Arken was one of the rogues on this expedition. He was a human, hailing from a land far from the Young Nations, and his eyes betrayed the presence of some grim event in his past.

Cailin Dertwell (Deceased - slain by orcs)
A priest of Boccob who joined the company in the town of Peaksfoot, Cailin was plagued by ill fortune, and finally slain by orcs in Za'ankhagan.

Evendur Amblecrown (Departed to woo a girl)
A young human fighter, skilled in the use of the rare two-bladed sword.

Flaya Rocksbringer (Deceased - slain by gnolls)
A wandering dwarf mage, Flaya hailed from Durghan Dwarfhold, where she had met Aslargi. She was searching for a lost dwarfhold in the Ghost Peaks, and had converted to Boccobism, eventually becoming a priest of that deity.

Jallarzi Tremayn (Remained in Peaksfoot)
Another human rogue, Jallarzi was not overly skilled in combat, but she had other talents which made her a valuable member of the company.

Kaitan was another elf, a sorcerer by trade, although he preferred to make a living as a wandering acrobat and juggler. He occasionally used some simple spells in his act.
Lorelei Tinuvial (Semi-deceased - became undead at the hands of shadows)
This talented half-elf joined the quest in Peaksfoot. Though skilled in her chosen profession, and lucky by nature, she did seem to live under a curse of sorts.

Seraphina was a halfling, and a priestess of Ehlonna of the Forests. When the group reached Peaksfoot, her heart bade her stay and tend to the spiritual needs of the halflings there.

A member of an order of knighthood who guard an ancient relic of an unimaginable evil, Sir Osric was skilled in the arts of sorcery and combat.
Animal Companion or Familiar: Quoth - raven.
tazok   Tazok the Moorlander (Remained in Peaksfoot)
A barbarian from the wild High Moors, Tazok became very attached to Seraphina, his "Little Priestess". When she chose to stay in Peaksfoot, loyalty to her made him stay too.
thaelas   Thaelas (Deceased - slain by zombies, skeletons and shadows in the Necropolis)
A wandering bard and teller of tales, Thaelas saw a trip to an ancient city of the dead as an opportunity to actually be part of a great story. When somebody questioned his telling of the tale, he'd be able to shake his head and say, "I know it's true, because I was there."
xendra   Xendra Morrant (Departed to write a history of Za'ankaghan)
Xendra served as a mapmaker and translator of ancient inscriptions. After meeting the ghost of Daenig Steelfist, she chose to stay in his keep, and learn the history of the dwarves of the Ghost Peaks.
yrsa   Yrsa (Returned to her distant homeland)
Rescued from the clutches of goblins in an ancient dwarven gatehouse in the Ghost Peaks, Yrsa, too, hailed from the High Moors, and was as capable as Tazok in combat.
